Stop That Extremist Whitehead

Wow... we've got some very clever, very motivated people cranking some anti-Whitehead spots for YouTube. Two in one day. Here's Rusty's first. Then Tondee's Tavern. I hope Marlow appreciates all this (free) hard work put in by people who would like to send him to Congress and not that wacked Whitehead.

Wow. Loving the rise of the homegrown campaign ads! 2008 is going to be insane.

Thanks for the links here and on Peach Pundit. I had fun making that and hope to do some more as time and inspiration permit.

Do you even know Jim Whitehead? Who are you to call anyone whacky? It's one thing to just disagree with someone's beliefs, but you have just launched an outright attack on someone you don't even know. At least provide some evidence of what makes him whacky. The democrats are full of crackpots and crooks and have done far worse things than Whitehead ever has. He's been a faithful public servant for Columbia County and the GA 24th for more that 15 years. What have you done?

Kepper, what about whitehead saying he would bomb UGA if it didn't have a football team? Wacky or not wacky?

Whitehead is a faithful alumnus of UGA and has pumped thousands of dollars into the university over the years. He is a die-hard native Georgian and he loves the university. All three of his children have attended UGA and at least one of them graduated and is now teaching.
He made that statement in jest. Everyone knows UGA (and most college campuses in general) are overrun by liberals. If you are a republican/moderate/conservative, that is particularly annoying.
Given how sensitive liberals are, it's probably not the best thing to say. I thought it was funny.
Think about it... Do you think the Chairman of the Homeland Security Commission for Georgia REALLY wants to blow something up? Especially his beloved university?
So, if you take that statement seriously, then you are waaaaayyyyy too sensitive. Lighten up some.

He's sure got a funny way of showing it.

And, kepper, sensitive? Let's leave aside for the moment the fact that that's one of the most asinine accusations that gets thrown around, and has absolutely zilch to do with whatever topic is being discussed. It's a non-sequitur. But! Still! If you want to play that card? Who's being sensitive here? Can't ya take a joke? Or did you take those YouTube ads seriously? C'mon, lighten up!
