Saturday Sashay

I tried to interest Ava in a peek to the Fall 2007 Ralph Lauren collection, but Sponge Bob was on the TV. Shoot, if you don't blink you could even catch a glimpse of the fabu shaded-and-jaded Anna Wintor and her trusty sidekick, Andre Leon Talley, on the right. (On the runway video of course, not in a Sponge Bob episode.)

Still, didn't keep me from delighting in the oh-so-serious Le Resistance look of the whole line. It's so Plenty, one of my favorite flicks ever. I can pull-off this (day) look quite well from any 'ole thrift shoppe, too. Only the gold lame, plunge gown towards the end could distract A from the lure of Sponge Bob though.

I think the SGR needs one of those Trusty Sidekick accessories.

Grayson,

So that's where Andre went.

It's too early for Fall fashion, take a glance at last night's Heart of Africa Fashion Show, courtesy Georgia Improper. If it doesn't take you back to Plenty, nothing will.

Can't tell you who i shared cush cush, chicken curry soup and spicy chicken breasts with, but after viewing the 175 shots, you can take a wild guess.

p.s. Maconfilmfestival.com
starts tomorrow, don't be a stranger, you might win the daily and weekly fashionable shoe contest. Lemme know if the podcasters plan to attend and we'll do downtown.

Wow! Some outfits. I love Macon. I keep a bottle of the most hideous perfume known to man on my desk because the proprietoress of the wackiest little shoppe in Macon somehow talked me into buying it; she said it was made from the wheat fields of a struggling British countess. And that it says so, right on the bottle! That Maconite was such a kooky piece of work. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Would sure like to get to the film festival, but I doubt that's gonna happen.

Am still trying to figure out your mystery dinner "partner" in the snaps. Why all the hush-hush? Please dish!

Thanks dear,

Circa what year did you abscond with the downtown Macon miracle potion? May i please, please, please have the pleasure of it's aroma and an improper photo op with your majesty of carolina womenarisms at the podcast thingy in March?

All i can say about my table mates at the Nigerian Heart of Africa event is that they were some of the most interesting and nicest people in Georgia but not necessarily from Georgia.

think global & act it out at the Maconfilmfesival.com,

adieu,
Vic

Vic hon. If there's one thing I love more than cheap perfume and Caroline pine trees, it's gettin' my picture made. Of course I'll pose! Can't wait to meet you then. if I'd had enough to drink, which is always likely, I'll even bend your ear with my African-print-Glasgow story.
Consider yourself warned!

Okay baby cakes,

But be forwarned, it drives me mad but not to drink when my ear gets bent over an African-print-Glasgow.

Until then, a poem designed specifically for southerners like us.
